How do I setup a wedding consultation?

What information do I need to bring to my consultation?

When meeting with your wedding consultant you should have the following information with you:
• Wedding Date
• Ceremony and Reception Location
• The number of Bridal Attendants and Groomsmen
• The number of ushers and other "helpers" at your wedding
• The number of family members who will need flowers
• Color samples of the attendants dresses if possible
• Any ideas you have for our designers


Where is Tillie's Flower Shop located and what are the business hours?

You can visit us for wedding flowers at:

3701 E Harry St (across from Via Christi St Joseph Hospital)
 
Hours:  7:30 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Friday
 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Saturday
11:00 am - 4:00 pm Sunday


Can Tillie's provide silk flowers?

Yes. We have several experts in silk design. Please check with us on pricing, as silk flowers can be vary in price compared to fresh flowers.


Does Tillie's have access to out-of-season or exotic flowers?

Yes. We can special order just about anything from growers around the world. However, some flowers, such as tulips, can be significantly more expensive when out of season due to limited availability and quality issues.


Does Tillie's rent any "props" or "extras" for weddings?

Yes. Tillie's can provide many specialty items to our wedding customers including:

  • Arches
  • Candelabras
  • Candleholders and lighters
  • Centerpiece containers
  • Unique topiaries

Will my Tillie's wedding consultant visit my wedding site to make recommendations?

Our wedding consultants have designed and set up weddings and receptions at most of the churches and public venues in Wichita, including popular venues such as Botanica and The Wichita Boat House. Our familiarity with most venues allows us to make excellent recommendations for your ceremony and reception, and our consultants do make site visits.


What is Tillie's payment and cancellation policy?

We accept all major credit cards. You can pay for your wedding flowers all at once or pay over time. However, your wedding must be paid for prior to delivery or pickup of your flowers. The initial consultation fee is $25. This non-refundable fee includes a consultation with one of our wedding design staff and reserves your wedding date. You can cancel your wedding flowers at any time, but the consulation fee is non-refundable. In order to receive a refund, you must cancel before we special order your flowers from growers and wholesalers.


What are Tillie's delivery and set-up fees?

Wedding delivery and set-up fees can vary based on the size of the wedding. If you needed your flowers delivered to your wedding site without set up, our standard delivery charge of $25.00 would apply. Our set-up fees range from $20-$50 per hour depending on the number of sites to set up and the number of designers required for set up. Set-up fees can be determined when you meet with a wedding design consultant.
